Why 10mm, not 7mm or a coating

10mm adds impact absorption for jacks, hoists and dropped tools. Here is what you get over a thinner tile or a painted floor.

5 tPoint load per tile

Trolley jacks, axle stands and equipment feet sit directly on the tile.

3 mmCracks bridged

The rigid tile spans cracks and pitting up to 3 mm. No levelling compound, no prep beyond a sweep.

0 hCure time

Epoxy needs 72+ hours to cure. These click down in an afternoon and you can drive in that evening.

−20 °CStays flexible

Virgin closed-cell PVC, rated −20 °C to +60 °C. Polypropylene tiles go brittle in a cold garage.

Workshop Floor Tiles for Mechanics - Easy Clean Surface

They lay straight over concrete, painted floors or old coatings with no adhesive and no cure time, and oil, fuel and brake fluid wipe straight off.

Laying the tiles

Sweep the floor, start in a corner and press the joints together. There is no adhesive, primer or curing, so the floor can be used as soon as it is down. The rigid tiles bridge cracks and uneven areas up to 3mm. Cut edge tiles with a utility knife and leave a 5mm gap at the walls. Read the full fitting guide.

7mm or 10mm?

7mm suits home garages, cars, vans and light workshops. 10mm is thicker and absorbs more impact from jacks, hoists and dropped tools, so it is the better choice for forklifts, HGVs and heavy equipment. Matching ramp edges are made for the 10mm tiles.

Questions buyers ask before ordering

Will it take a trolley jack or axle stands?

Yes. Each tile is rated to a 5-tonne point load (BS EN ISO 24344), so jacks and axle stands sit straight on the tile.

My concrete is cracked and dusty. Do I need to prep it?

No. Sweep it and lay the tiles straight over bare or painted concrete. The rigid tiles bridge imperfections up to 3mm. No grinding, priming or moisture testing.

Will oil or brake fluid stain it?

No. Closed-cell PVC does not absorb fluids, so oil, brake fluid, coolant and fuel stay on the surface and wipe off.

Does it get slippery when wet?

No. The surface is R10 rated to DIN 51130, so it keeps its grip with water or oil on it.

What if I damage one tile?

Lift the surrounding edges, take the damaged tile out and click a new one in. No contractor and no curing.

Can I take it with me when I move?

Yes. There is no adhesive, so the tiles lift up and relay in your next garage.
