About epoxy vs interlocking floor tiles

Epoxy coatings and interlocking tiles both give a hard-wearing, chemical-resistant floor. Epoxy needs a dry, prepared slab, controlled conditions and a cure period before traffic; failures usually mean grinding and re-coating. Interlocking PVC tiles lay over clean concrete with no adhesive or primer, can be used straight away, tolerate damp slabs, and are repaired by swapping a single tile.

Choose epoxy for a permanent, dry, climate-controlled floor that can be closed for curing. Choose tiles for working sites that cannot close, damp floors, leased units, or anywhere you may want to lift the floor later. Read the full comparison.
